This is a very simple recipe, not very spicy or herby, yet creamy and flavorful. Good for grandma and grandpa as it is blended. And just by the way you get a super healthy juice to drink 🙂

You need:

  • about 1 liter of water
  • a generous tea spoon of Himalayan or sea salt
Add salt and water to a bigger pot and heat.Make sure your pot is big enough – all the ingredients should fit until half of the pot so that when blending in it nothing will spill out.
  • 2 cauliflowers
  • 2 red onions
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 table spoons of spices (cumin, thyme, cur-cumin, coriander, marjoram)
  • freshly ground pepper
Clean and cut veggies into pieces and add one by one to the pot. Cook them with cover on top till they’re not crunchy anymore. When ready take off the heat and take the cover off as well.
  • 8 carrots
  • 2 rutabagas (these are called also yellow turnips)
  • 3 small apples
Clean and cut the veggies so they fit into juicer. Juice them and enjoy the juice 😀 Put the dry pulp from the juicer into the soup. Blend everything together.
  • at least half cup creme fraiche – or as much as you like
Add creme fraiche and serve topped with a spoon of cream and fresh green (like chives) on top.
  • Servings: 10 cups
  • Time: 30 mins
  • Waste: 1 (energy for cooking and blending
  • Healthy: 6 (because everything is well cooked)
  • Difficulty: simple
