Banana ice cream is the simplest ice cream recipe in the world.

Ingredients: Steps:
  • 4 over-ripen bananas
Freezing: Cut bananas into pieces. Pack them into dessert portions, remembering not to stuff them tightly. Close. Freeze them over night or for minimum 2 hours.
Blending: 10 minutes before serving the dessert take the bananas out of the freezer so they soften a little in room temperature.*Blend them well – should not take more than 3 minutes (even with a crappy blender). Form onto plates as balls and decorate.

* You can skip this step if you have a powerful blender which can deal with stone cold bananas. If your room temperature is more than 22 degrees Celsius shorten the “softening” time.
