Strawberry tincture (infused vodka in short) is super simple to do. It is also adventurous as you have to go pick your strawberries 🙂 This is needed because tinctures are not only infused alcohols, more importantly each tincture stores memories.
|Go to a generous strawberry field. Pick strawberries making sure they are not pesticided. Best are small strawberries because they have the most color and taste.|
||Get rid of leaves from strawberries, wash them gently under cold running water. Put them in the jars.|
||Pour vodka over your strawberries so that all are covered with it. Close the jars with caps. Put in dark place. Forget about them for a month. If you stumble upon the jars you can gently rotate them up and down from time to time.|
||Clean the bottle, fennel and sieve. Open the jars. Put fennel inside the bottle, sieve over it and pour contents of each jar slowly inside. Drop molasses inside and taste. If not sweet enough for you add more.|
|Congrats! You have made strawberry tincture 🙂 Enjoy with friends the deep red color, the taste of fresh strawberries and the memories of summer strawberry fields.
